Finland

After the trip across Switzerland I flew straight to Finland to meet Madars, Pirkka and Janne. We will skate around here for the next twelve days. I just read that there is approximately 200′000 lakes in this country; next time I’ll bring Jo Lorenz here…

First day was a good start!

After Berlin and Frankfurt, Pirkka, Madars and I went to London to meet Lucien Clarke to get more stuff done for “Travel Well”. We skated in the city for a few days with Lucien’s homies and Dom Marley and then drove to Bristol and Cardiff in Wales where Leo Sharp showed us around. Here is a selection of pictures and a little clip of our journey!

VIDEO PART – STEVIE WILLIAMS (1994)

I caught up with Stevie Williams to discuss all things Element, including the short-lived Underworld Element, meeting Johnny Schillereff & Andy Howell, LOVE Park’s early days, and skateboarding today. In doing so, Stevie explained how he first got on Element at a mere 12-years old.

Here’s Stevie’s debut video part in the 1994 video; Fine Artists, along with an introductory interview clip…

Visit the MAKE IT COUNT blog for photos, video, and more. The full-length film premieres online August 1st.
