The annual event is part of the “Yorba Linda Old Town Holiday Festival” and through this activity it’s given the youth that are no longer lured by Santa’s firetruck a chance to join the rest of the community for an evening of holiday cheer.  The turnout was great and the level of skating even better. Two rounds were held at a time with judges at each game. The winner advanced in the bracket ultimately moving closer to a spot in finals.

In in the end, Zach Payton (left) faced off against last years winner and defending champion Marcel (right) in finals. After a heated and very exciting final round, it was Zach Payton who overcame and now holds the Yorba Linda game of S.K.A.T.E. crown. Congratulations Zach and a special thanks to everybody who came out last night. We had a blast and can’t wait till next year.
